Call to Worship…………………………………………….Melrose D.
The God of day and darkness moves among us…
We are the people of Living Water.
The God of hope and promise lives among us…
We are the people of Living Water.
The God of the lost and lonely calls us by name…
We are the people bathed in the Living Water of Creation, God’s kin, traveling toward home and a love that will not let us go.
Written by Sally Johnson, United Methodist Creation Justice Movement
Opening Prayer………………………………….Melrose D.
Holy One of the morning, we come together to remember who we are and whose we are. Open our hearts to the nudging of your Spirit that moves among us, empowering us to listen, to nurture, and to care for all creation. Give us eyes to see when you break into our lives through all you have made and wash us once again in your life-giving waters. Amen
Written by Sally Johnson, United Methodist Creation Justice Movement
Opening Hymns……Your Grace is Enough…………3106 W&S
Great is Your faithfulness, o God
You wrestle with the sinner’s heart
You lead us by still waters and to mercy
And nothing can keep us apart
So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promise, o God
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me
Great is Your love and justice, God
You use the weak to lead the strong
You lead us in the song of Your salvation
And all Your people sing along
So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promise, o God
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me
So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promise, o God
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me
Your grace is enough
Heaven reaching down to us
Your grace is enough for me
God, I see Your grace is enough
I’m covered in Your love
Your grace is enough for me, for me
God is Good, All the Time…………….3026 W&S
God is good, God is good all the time.
God is good, God is good all the time.
1. In our doubts, hopes and fears, joys and tears,
2. When there’s no one to share our despair,
3. When there’s love to be found all around,
4. When our sorrows we bring, let us sing;
5. As our thanks and our praise now we raise,
God is good, God is good all the time.

Hymn of Preparation:……….Near to the Heart of God………….472 UMH
1 There is a place of quiet rest,
near to the heart of God,
a place where sin cannot molest,
near to the heart of God.
Refrain:
O Jesus, blest Redeemer,
sent from the heart of God,
hold us, who wait before thee,
near to the heart of God.
2 There is a place of comfort sweet,
near to the heart of God,
a place where we our Savior meet,
near to the heart of God. [Refrain]
3 There is a place of full release,
near to the heart of God,
a place where all is joy and peace,
near to the heart of God. [Refrain]
Gospel Lesson:…………John 10: 22 -30……….Melrose D.
At that time the Festival of the Dedication took place in Jerusalem. It was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the portico of Solomon. So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” Jesus answered, “I have told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name testify to me, but you do not believe me because you do not belong to my sheep. My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, in regard to what he has given me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.”
Sermon:………..“When will you be one?”…………..Pastor Steven
Closing Hymn………..We Will Follow……3160 W&S
We will follow, we will follow Jesus.
We will follow, we will follow him.
We will follow, we will follow, Jesus.
Wherever he leads we will follow. (repeat)
