Avent Ferry UMC Stewardship Campaign

Dear Avent Ferry Family, On behalf of Avent Ferry’s “Chorus of Generosity” team, I’m writing to share the good news about this year’s giving campaign, and to invite you to take part. In our last letter, you heard from Pastor Liz, about how Avent Ferry UMC is a kind of chorus. In everything we do, from weekly worship to the Wednesday Prayer Group, the youth group, to our outreach in the community, we work and serve together to make beautiful things happen.  Not that we always agree, of course. But at our best, our differences of opinion, perspective, and passion make our chorus even stronger and more beautiful. After all, what is harmony if not different voices singing different notes at the same time? That’s the miracle of Avent Ferry UMC: a diverse community worshiping, working, and serving together, sometimes in unison, sometimes in harmony. A chorus of generosity, continually giving gifts to one another and the wider world, and therefore well worth supporting – which is exactly why I’m delighted to give, and doubly delighted to be a part of this year’s giving campaign team.
