Music by Greg D.
Coming of the Light:
Greetings:………………………………………………..Pastor Liz
Announcements:………………………………………….Lorri B.
Call to Worship:…………………………………………..Chad V.
We are 10 lepers, with scars and wounds–and hope
for your healing touch. From our souls’ depths
we raise our voices to you.
“Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!”
As we glimpse the grace you pour upon us,
we thank you.
Opening Prayer:………………………………………….Chad V.
God our Creator and Redeemer, open our eyes to a
larger awareness of your goodness, and our souls to
deeper gratitude. Then, uplifted with thanksgiving, may we give
ourselves to unpleasant tasks with good
grace, and show irk-some people a good will such as
we offer our best friends. Through Christ Jesus our
ever-present Lord. Amen!
Opening Hymns:….“Your Grace Is Enough” #3106 W&S
Words and Music: Matt Maher © 2005 ThankYou Music
1. Great is your faithfulness, O God.
You wrestle with the sinner’s heart.
You lead us by still waters into mercy.
And nothing can keep us apart.
So remember your people, remember your children,
remember your promise, O God.
Your grace is enough, your grace is enough
your grace is enough for me. Your
grace is enough, your grace is enough, your
grace is enough for me.
2. Great is your love and justice, God.
You use the weak to lead the strong.
You lead us in the song of your salvation,
and all your people sing along.
So remember your people, remember your children,
remember your promise, O God.
Your grace is enough, your grace is enough
your grace is enough for me. Your
grace is enough, your grace is enough, your
grace is enough for me.
So remember your people, remember your children,
remember your promise, O God.
Your grace is enough, your grace is enough
your grace is enough for me. Your grace is enough.
Heaven reaching down to us. Your
grace is enough for me. God, I see your
grace is enough. I’m covered in your love.
Your grace is enough for me, for me, for me.

1. Christ has broken down the wall,
Christ has broken down the wall. Let us join our
hearts as one, Christ has broken down the wall.
2. We’re accepted as we are,
we’re accepted as we are. Through God’s love all is
reconciled, we’re accepted as we are.
3. Cast aside your doubts and fears,
cast aside your doubts and fears. Peace and love, freely
offered here; cast aside your doubts and fears.
4. We will tear down the walls!
We will tear down every wall! God has called us,
one and all; Christ has broken down the wall!

The Lord’s Prayer:
Anthem:……..“Jesus Shall Reign Medley”……..Handbell Choir
Gospel Lesson: ….…Luke 17:11-19…….…….Joe B.
On the way to Jerusalem Jesus was going through the region between Samaria and Galilee. As he entered a village, ten men with a skin disease approached him. Keeping their distance, they called out, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were made clean. Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. He prostrated himself at Jesus’s feet and thanked him. And he was a Samaritan.
Then Jesus asked, “Were not ten made clean? So where are the other nine? Did none of them return to give glory to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Get up and go on your way; your faith has made you well.”
Hymn of Preparation: “Something Beautiful” #394 UMH
Words: Gloria Gaither, 1971, Music: William J. Gaither, 1971

Something beautiful, something good; all my confusion
he understood; all I had to offer him was brokenness
and strife, but he made something beautiful of my life.

Response to the Word:
Closing Hymn: “Tradin’ My Sorrows” #3108 W&S
Words and Music: Darrell Evans © 1998, arr.© 2010 Integrity’s
Hosanna Music (ASCAP
I tradin’ my sorrows, I’m tradin’ my
shame, I’m layin’ them down for the joy of the
Lord. I’m tradin’ my sickness,
I’m tradin’ my pain, I’m layin’ them
down for the joy of the Lord.
Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord. Yes, Lord, yes, Lord,
yes, yes, Lord. Yes, lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord. Amen.
I am pressed but not crushed, persecuted
not abandoned; struck down but not destroyed.
I am blessed beyond the curse, for his
promise will endure that his joy’s gonna be my strength.
Though the sorrow may last for the night,
his joy comes with the mornin’.
I tradin’ my sorrows, I’m tradin’ my
shame, I’m layin’ them down for the joy of the
Lord. I’m tradin’ my sickness,
I’m tradin’ my pain, I’m layin’ them
down for the joy of the Lord.
Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord. Yes, Lord, yes, Lord,
yes, yes, Lord. Yes, lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord. Amen.
