Greetings:…………………………………………………Cullen W.

Opening Prayer:……………………….………….Robin C.

Everlasting God:
You have revealed yourself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
and ever live and reign in the perfect unity of love.
Grant that we may always hold firmly and joyfully to this faith, and, living in praise of your divine majesty,
may finally be one in you;
who are three persons in one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Opening Hymns:“Come, Join the Dance of Trinity” #3017 W&S
Words: Richard Leach Music: Traditional English melody
Words © Selah Publishing Co., Inc.

1. Come, join the dance of Trinity, before all worlds begun
the interweaving of the Three: the Father, Spirit, Son. The universe of space and time did not arise by chance, but as
the three in love and hope, made room within their dance.

2. Come, see the face of Trinity, newborn in Bethlehem; then
bloodied by a crown of thorns outside Jerusalem.  The dance
of Trinity is meant for human flesh and bone; when fear
confines the dance in death, God rolls away the stone.

3. Come, speak aloud of Trinity, as wind and tongues of flame
set people free at Pentecost to tell the Savior’s name.  We Know the yoke of sin and death, our necks have worn it smooth; go
tell the world of weight and woe that we are free to move!

4. Within the dance of Trinity, before all worlds begun, we sing
the praises of the Three: the Father, Spirit, Son.  Let voices
rise and interweave, by love and hope set free, to shape in
song this joy, this life: the dance of Trinity.

How Great Is Our God  3003 Worship and Song
Words: C. Tomlin, J. Reeves, E. Cash
Music: C. Tomlin, J. Reeves, E. Cash
© Alletrop Music (BMI)

1. The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty;
let all the earth rejoice, let all the earth rejoice.
He wraps himself in light, and darkness tries to hide;
it trembles at his voice, it trembles at his voice.

How great is our God! Sing with me, “How great is our God!”
And all will see how great, how great is our God!

2. Age to age he stands, and time is in his hands;
Beginning and the End, Beginning and the End.
The God-head Three-in-one, Father, Spirit, Son,
the Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb.

How great is our God! Sing with me, “How great is our God!’
And all will see how great, how great is our God!”
Name above all names, worthy of all praise;
my heart will sing, “How great is our God!”

Psalter:……………Psalm 8  UMH 743…………Robin C.

O Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Your glory is chanted above the heavens by the
mouths of babes and infants:
you have set up a defense against your foes,
to still the enemy and the avenger.

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars which you have established;
what are human beings that you are mindful of them,
and mortals that you care for them?
Yet you have made them a little less than God,
and crowned them with glory and honor.

You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet,
all sheep and oxen,
and also the beasts of the field,
the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea,
whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
O Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Gloria Patri: “Glory Be to the Father” #71 UMH

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Gospel Lesson:……….Matthew 28:16-20Robin C.

Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Sermon:…………………………………………………..Lusi R.

Anthem:…… “You’ll Never Walk Alone”……………..Marcel P.

Closing Hymn:“Eternal God Transcending Time” #3030 W&S
Words: Carl P. Saw, Jr. Music: USA folk melody, Walker’s
Southern Harmony Words © 1999 Hope Publishing company

1. Eternal God Transcending time, yet mindful of the
fears, the hopes, the questions raised for us by
ever changing years: so guide us through our pilgrim
days that we may find a home where justice, truth,
and mercy meet, fulfilled in your shalom.

2. Incarnate God revealed in time, true Word in flesh
retold, who marked the years from birth to death,
then rose to break death’s hold: by your becoming
one with us, help us to know and claim the unity
of all baptized in your redeeming name.

3. Life breathing God enlivening time, awaking heart
and tongue, inspiring prophets, bringing hope,
Consoling old and young: draw us to those denied
Your gifts by bias, want, or strife, convert our wills
And form through us new channels of your life.

4. Great Triune God, so bless the time entrusted to
our care, that all our varied ministries may form a
common prayer; then when time ceases, bring us
where divisions are undone, that in your presence,
joined in praise, at last we may be one.
