“Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy is our Lord,
God is Lord of all creation, holy, holy is our Lord.
Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy is our Lord,
God is Lord of past and future, holy, holy is our Lord.
“In the middle of the village, beside us in our struggles,
Throughout the whole creation, God is the only One.
Blessings to the one who teaches the good news of the Gospel,
the message of salvation, of peace and liberty.
“Santo, santo, santo, santo, santo, santo es nuestro Dios,
Señor de toda la tierra, santo, santo es nuestro Dios.
Santo, santo, santo, santo, santo, santo es nuestro Dios,
Señor de todas la historia, santo, santo es nuestro Dios.
“Que a campaña a nuestro pueblo, que vive en nuestras luchas,
Del universo entero el único Señor.
Benditos los que en su nombre el evangelio anuncian,
La buena y gran noticia de la liberación.”
Psalm Lesson with Response: Psalm 1….…Susana F.
Liturgist: Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers;
All: but their delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law they meditate day and night.
Liturgist: They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper.
All: The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
Liturgist: Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
All: for the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

Make me a servant, humble and meek,
Lord, let me lift up those who are weak.
And may the prayer of my heart always be:
Make me a servant, make me a servant,
Make me a servant today.
Make me a servant, humble and meek,
Lord, let me lift up those who are weak.
And may the prayer of my heart always be:
Make me a servant, make me a servant,
Make me a servant today.
Gospel Lesson: Mark 9:30-37…………………Susana F.
9:30 They went on from there and passed through Galilee. He did not want anyone to know it;
9:31 for he was teaching his disciples, saying to them, “The Son of Man is to be betrayed into human hands, and they will kill him, and three days after being killed, he will rise again.”
9:32 But they did not understand what he was saying and were afraid to ask him.
9:33 Then they came to Capernaum; and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the way?”
9:34 But they were silent, for on the way they had argued with one another who was the greatest.
9:35 He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all.”
9:36 Then he took a little child and put it among them; and taking it in his arms, he said to them,
9:37 “Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes not me but the one who sent me.”

The Lord’s table is open to all who recognize Jesus Christ as healer and redeemer. This table is open to all who work to bring God’s Kingdom here on earth. No one is turned away because of life circumstances. No one is barred from this table. No one seeking God’s abundant grace and mercy is turned aside. We see before us the abundance that a life of faith offers as we respond to God’s everlasting mercy in prayer and deed.
Liturgy, prayers and responses are located below this copy of order of worship.

1.Packing up the dreams God planted,
in the fertile soil of you,
Can’t believe the hopes He’s granted,
means a chapter in your life is through.
(Bridge)
But we’ll keep you close as always.
It won’t even seem you’ve gone.
‘Cause our hearts in big and small ways,
will keep the love that keeps us strong.
(Chorus)
And friends are friends forever if the
Lord’s the Lord of them.
And a friend will not say never ‘cause
the welcome will not end.
Though it’s hard to let you go, in
the Father’s hands we know,
that a lifetime’s not too long, to
live as friends.
2.And with the faith and love God’s given,
springing from the hope we know.
We will pray the joy you live in,
is the strength that now you show.
(Bridge)
But we’ll keep you close as always.
It won’t even seem you’ve gone.
‘Cause our hearts in big and small ways,
will keep the love that keeps us strong.
(Chorus)
And friends are friends forever if the
Lord’s the Lord of them.
And a friend will not say never ‘cause
the welcome will not end.
Though it’s hard to let you go, in
the Father’s hands we know,
that a lifetime’s not too long, to
live as friends.
And friends are friends forever if the
Lord’s the Lord of them.
And a friend will not say never ‘cause
the welcome will not end.
Though it’s hard to let you go, in
the Father’s hands we know,
that a lifetime’s not too long to
live as friends.
Though it’s hard to let you go, in
the Father’s hands we know,
that a lifetime’s not too long to
live as friends.
No, a lifetime’s not too long to
live as friends.

Order of Farewell to Pastor Juan
Pastor Juan:…as I leave, I carry with me all that I have learned here.
All: We receive your thankfulness, offer forgiveness,
and accept that you now leave to be an Army Chaplain.
We express our gratitude for your time among us.
We ask your forgiveness for our mistakes.
Your influence on our faith and faithfulness
will not leave with your departure.
Pastor Juan: …let us pray.
All: Eternal God, whose steadfast love for us is from everlasting to everlasting,
we give you thanks for cherished memories
and commend one another into your care as we move in new directions.
Keep us one in your love forever, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
HOLY COMMUNION LITURGY
Pastor Juan: Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church. We have not done your will, we have broken your law, we have rebelled against your love, we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
All pray in silence.
Pastor Juan: Hear the good news:
Christ died for us while we were yet sinners; that proves God’s love toward us. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven!
All: In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven!
All: Glory to God. Amen.
THE PEACE
Let us offer one another signs of reconciliation and love.
All, including the pastor, exchange signs and words of God’s peace by crossing hands, wave to one another due to social distancing guidelines.
Pastor Juan: The Lord be with you.
All: And also with you.
Pastor Juan: Lift up your hearts. The pastor may lift hands and keep them raised.
All: We lift them up to the Lord.
Pastor Juan: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
All: It is right to give our thanks and praise.
Pastor Juan: and with all the company of heaven, singing the hymn of your eternal glory.:
All: Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
Pastor Juan: Great is the mystery of faith:
All: Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ will come again.
Pastor Juan: ever one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
All: Amen.
THE LORD’S PRAYER*
Pastor Juan: And now, with the confidence of children of God, let us pray:
All:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial,
and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours now
and forever. Amen.
