Jubilate Hymns; admin. by Hope Publishing Co.
1.Sing a new song to the Lord, he to whom
wonders belong! Rejoice in his triumph and tell
of his power. O sing to the Lord a new song!
2.Now to the ends of the earth see his salvation
is shown! And still he remembers his mercy and
truth, unchanging in love to his own.
3.Sing a new song and rejoice, publish his
praises abroad! Let voices in chorus, with trumpet
and horn, resound for the joy of the Lord!
4.Join with the hills and the sea thunders of praise
to prolong! In judgment and justice he comes
to the earth. O sing to the Lord a new song!
Psalm Lesson with Response: Psalm 15………………Beverly B.
Liturgist: O LORD, who may abide in your tent? Who may dwell on your holy hill?
All: Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right, and speak the truth from their heart; who do not slander with their tongue, and do no evil to their friends, nor take up a reproach against their neighbors;
Liturgist: in whose eyes the wicked are despised, but who honor those who fear the LORD; who stand by their oath even to their hurt;
All: who do not lend money at interest, and do not take a bribe against the innocent. Those who do these things shall never be moved.

In your church, Lord, be glorified today.

Reciting Our Social Creed………………….Pastor Juan
God in the Spirit revealed in Jesus Christ, calls us by grace
to be renewed in the image of our Creator,
that we may be one in divine love for the world.
Today is the day
God cares for the integrity of creation, wills the healing and wholeness of all life, weeps at the plunder of earth’s goodness.
And so shall we.
Today is the day
God embraces all hues of humanity, delights in diversity and difference, favors solidarity transforming strangers into friends.
And so shall we.
Today is the day
God cries with the masses of starving people,
growing disparity between rich and poor,
demands justice for workers in the marketplace.
And so shall we.
Today is the day
God deplores violence in our homes and streets,
rebukes the world’s warring madness,
humbles the powerful and lifts up the lowly.
And so shall we.
Today is the day
God calls for nations and peoples to live in peace,
celebrates where justice and mercy embrace,
exults when the wolf grazes with the lamb.
And so shall we.
Today is the day
God brings good news to the poor,
proclaims release to the captives,
gives sight to the blind, and
sets the oppressed free.
And so shall we.

Closing Hymn: “Together We Serve” #2175 TFWS
Words and Music: Daniel Charles Damon
© 1998 Hope Publishing Co.
1.Together we serve, united by love,
inviting God’s world to the glorious
feast. We work and we pray through
sorrow and joy, extending your love to
the last and the least.
2.We seek to become a beacon of hope,
a lamp for the heart and a light for
the feet. We learn, year by year, to let
love shine through until we see Christ
in each person we meet.
3.We welcome the scarred, the wealthy,
the poor, the busy, the lonely, and all
who need care. We offer a home to those
who will come, our hands quick to help,
our hearts ready to dare.
4.Together, by grace, we witness and
work, remembering Jesus, in whom we
grow strong. Together we serve in Spirit
and truth, remembering love is the
strength of our song.
