Opening Hymn: Holy, Holy, Holy” #64 UMH
Words: Reginald Heber, 1826 (Rev. 4:8-11)
Music: John B. Dykes, 1861

1.  Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty!

Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty,
God in three persons, blessed Trinity!

2.  Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee,

casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee,
which were, and art, and evermore shalt be.

3.  Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide thee,

Though the eye of sinful man thy glory may not see,
Only thou art holy; there is none beside thee,
perfect in power, in love and purity.

3.  Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!

All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth and sky and sea
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty,
God in three persons, blessed Trinity.

Please comment with your prayer concerns and especially offer up those things that cause your soul to be in a place of deep lament this day.
After each prayer read:

Leader: Lord in your mercy.
All: Hear our prayers.

Sharing of the Love Feast……..……….Pastor Juan

AFUMC shares monthly in the Love Feast as part of our Wesleyan heritage. It is a way of gathering as one when we cannot gather in person for the sacrament of Holy Communion. The features of the Love Feast are sharing of the bread and water while sharing in conversation together of God’s love, mercy, and grace. So please have some sort of bread and water readily available.

Hymn for Love Feast: Be Present at Our Table, Lord #621 The United Methodist Hymnal
Words: John Cennick, 1741
Music: Old 100th tune, attributed to Louis Bourgeois, 1551

“Be present at our table, Lord;
be here and everywhere adored;
thy creatures bless, and grant that we
may feast in paradise with thee.”

At this time, please enjoy your meal as you discuss with one another or reflect upon the following questions:

In this past year, have you experienced any moments when you saw, felt or heard God’s presence? What are some reminders of these moments?

Closing Hymn: Shine Jesus Shine” #2173 TFWS
Words: Graham Kendrick (2 Cor. 46)
Music: Graham Kendrick; arr. By Jack Schrader, adapt.
© 9187 and this arr. ©1998 Make Way Music, admin. by Music Services in the Western Hemisphere

Refrain
Shine, Jesus, shine, fill this land with the
Father’s glory, blaze, Spirit, blaze, set our hearts on fire; flow, river, flow, flood the nations with
grace and mercy, send forth your word, Lord,
And let there be light.

1. Lord, the light of your love is shining
in the midst of the darkness shining;
Jesus, Light of the World, shine upon us,
set us free by the truth you now bring us.

Shine on me, shine on me.

2.  Lord, I come to your awesome presence
from the shadows into your radiance;
by the blood I may enter your brightness,
search me, try me, consume all my darkness.

Shine on me, shine on me.

3. As we gaze on your kingly brightness,
so our faces display your likeness;
ever changing from glory to glory,
mirrored here may our lives tell your story.

Shine on me, shine on me.
