Opening & Preparatory Hymn: “For All The Saints” #2283
The Faith We Sing
Words by John Bell © 1996 WGRG The Iona Community (Scotland), admin by GIA Publications, Inc.
Music is an English folk medley
“1. For all the saints who’ve shown your love
in how they live and where they move,
for mindful women, caring men,
accept our gratitude again.
2. For all the saints who loved your name,
whose faith increased the Savior’s fame,
who sang your songs and share your word,
accept our gratitude, good Lord.
3. For all the saints who named your will,
and showed the kingdom coming still
through selfless protest, prayer, and praise,
accept the gratitude we raise.
4. Bless all whose will or name or love
reflects the grace of heaven above.
Though unacclaimed by earthly powers,
your life through theirs has hallowed ours.”

Sharing of the Love Feast……………………………….Pastor Juan
We will share monthly in the Love Feast as part of our Wesleyan heritage. It is a way of gathering as one when we cannot gather in person for the sacrament of Holy Communion. The features of the Love Feast are sharing of the bread and water while sharing in conversation together of God’s love, mercy, and grace. So please have some sort of bread and water readily available.
Hymn for Love Feast: “Be Present at Our Table, Lord” #621
The United Methodist Hymnal
Words: John Cennick, 1741
Music: Old 100th tune, attributed to Louis Bourgeois, 1551
“Be present at our table, Lord;
be here and everywhere adored;
thy creatures bless, and grant that we
may feast in paradise with thee.”
At this time, please enjoy your meal as you discuss with one another or reflect upon the following questions:
What have you learned from those who have passed away this season? How do you celebrate them? What stories do you tell?

Closing Hymn: “I Sing a Song of the Saints of God” #712
The United Methodist Hymnal
Words by Lesbia Scott, 1929
Music by John H. Hopkins, Jr, 1940
“1. I sing a song of the saints of God,
patient and brave and true,
who toiled and fought and lived and died
for the Lord they loved and knew.
And one was a doctor, and one was a queen,
and one was a shepherdess on the green;
they were all of them saints of God, and I mean,
God helping, to be one too.
“2. They loved their Lord so dear, so dear,
and his love made them strong;
and they followed the right for Jesus’ sake
the whole of their good lives long.
And one was a soldier, and one was a priest,
and one was slain by a fierce wild beast;
and there’s not any reason, no, not the least,
why I shouldn’t be one too.
“3. They lived not only in ages past;
there are hundreds of thousands still.
The world is bright with the joyous saints
who love to do Jesus’ will.
You can meet them in school, on the street,
in the store, in church, by the sea, in the house next door;
they are saints of God, whether rich or poor,
and I mean to be one too.”
