Disaster Relief Team Work Day, Saturday November 23rd

This Saturday, Avent Ferry UMC and Highland UMC joint NC Annual Conference Disaster Team will work a full day in Grantsboro and Oriental, NC. The team will leave from Highland UMC, 1901 Ridge Road, at 6:30am on this Saturday November 23rd. Those able to attend are asked to arrive early to be able to park and load the minibus.

Please bring your lunch, rain gear and anything else you may need. Wear your Conference shirt, badge, hat and whistle if you have them. Additional whistles will be available if needed.

The minibus will return to Highland UMC Saturday evening no later than 6:00pm.

The missions team and church council thanks all of you that have been able to participate in this amazing ministry to the community at large as your “Climb for Christ!”
