Words and Music by Handt Hanson

“Celebrate love, love, love.
Celebrate love, love, love.
Celebrate love — so amazing.
He’s creating his wonderful love in you.

We can celebrate his love today.
Jesus loves everyone.
We can celebrate new life today.
Jesus loves everyone.

Celebrate love, love, love.
Celebrate love, love, love.
Celebrate love — so amazing.
He’s creating his wonderful love in you.

We can sing about his love for us.
Jesus loves everyone.
He is living here inside of us.
Jesus loves everyone.

Celebrate love, love, love.
Celebrate love, love, love.
Celebrate love — so amazing.
He’s creating his wonderful love in you.”

Hymn of Preparation: One Bread, One Body, #620 in The UM Hymnal
Words and Music by John B. Foley with harmony by Gary A. Smith

“One bread, one body, one Lord of all,
one cup of blessing which we bless.
And we, though many throughout the earth,
we are one body in this one Lord.

1. Gentile or Jew, servant or free,
woman or man, no more.

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,
one cup of blessing which we bless.
And we, though many throughout the earth,
we are one body in this one Lord.

2. Many the gifts, many the works,
one in the Lord of all.

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,
one cup of blessing which we bless.
And we, though many throughout the earth,
we are one body in this one Lord.

3. Grain for the fields, scattered and grown,
gathered to one, for all.

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,
one cup of blessing which we bless.
And we, though many throughout the earth,
we are one body in this one Lord.”

Sharing of the Love Feast………………………………Pastor Juan
We will share monthly in the Love Feast as part of our Wesleyan heritage. It is a way of gathering as one when we cannot gather in person for the sacrament of Holy Communion. The features of the Love Feast are sharing of the bread and water while sharing in conversation together of God’s love, mercy, and grace. So please have some sort of bread and water readily available.

HymnBe Present at Our Table, Lord, #621 in The UM Hymnal
Old 100th tune, words by John Cennick, music attributed to Louis Bourgeois

“Be present at our table, Lord;
be here and everywhere adored;
thy creatures bless, and grant that we
may feast in paradise with thee.”

At this time, please enjoy your meal as you discuss with one another or reflect upon, “In the midst of the pandemic, what have I gained from God during these past few months?”

Closing Hymn: Love Divine, All Loves Excelling #384 in The UM Hymnal
Words by Charles Wesley, music by John Zundel

“1. Love divine, all loves excelling,
joy of heaven, to earth come down;
fix in us thy humble dwelling;
all thy faithful mercies crown!
Jesus, thou art all compassion,
pure, unbounded love thou art;
visit us with thy salvation;
enter every trembling heart.

2. Breathe, O breathe thy loving Spirit
into every troubled breast!
Let us all in thee inherit;
let us find that second rest.
Take away our bent to sinning;
Alpha and Omega be;
end of faith, as its beginning,
set our hearts at liberty.

3. Come, Almighty to deliver,
let us all thy life receive;
suddenly return and never,
nevermore thy temples leave.
Thee we would be always blessing,
serve thee as thy hosts above,
pray and praise thee without ceasing,
glory in thy perfect love.

4. Finish, then, thy new creation;
pure and spotless let us be.
Let us see thy great salvation
perfectly restored in thee;
changed from glory into glory,
till in heaven we take our place,
till we cast our crowns before thee,
lost in wonder, love, and praise.”
