“Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.”
Prayer after receiving……………………………..Pastor Juan Giver of all good gifts, you have blessed us with so much. Yet all of that pales by comparison with the knowledge that you claim us as children, as heirs, our divine birthright. Too often, we have overlooked or ignored that gift. As we present our tithes and offerings to you this morning, help us to freely let go of all we possess and that possesses us, and hold fast to the birthright that is our greatest gift. In Christ’s name, we pray. AMEN. (Genesis 25:19-34)
1. “I want Jesus to walk with me (walk with me). I want Jesus to walk with me (walk with me). All along my pilgrim journey, Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me (walk with me).
2. “In my trials, Lord, walk with me (walk with me). In my trials, Lord, walk with me (walk with me). When my heart is almost breaking, Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me (walk with me).
3. “When I’m troubled, Lord, walk with me (walk with me). When I’m troubled, Lord, walk with me (walk with me). When my head is bowed in sorrow, Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me (walk with me).”
Dismissal with blessing……Pastor Juan Generous and loving God, we come to you in thanksgiving, knowing that all we are and all that we have is a gift from you. In faith and love, help us to do your will. We are listening. Speak your words into the depth of our souls, that we may hear you clearly as we go forth. We seek to be patient, to be merciful, to be generous, to be holy. Give us the wisdom and insight to understand Your will for us and the fervor to carry out our good intentions. Help us to reach out to others as you have reached out to us. AMEN.
