Saturday, February 18th, we present dinner and a movie. Dinner will be at 5:30 pm with “Soul Surfer” at 6:30 pm. Dinner is chicken, salad, potato, bread, dessert and a beverage with a vegetarian option. Dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Our season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22, with an Ash Wednesday Worship Service in the sanctuary at 7 PM. Then on every Wednesday through Holy Week we invite members and guests to bring a picnic supper to the Fellowship Hall, enjoy it together, and then move to the sanctuary to see a segment [...] We have been learning that contemporary music can be great! Songwriters are hearing some beautiful words these days! Our guest praise band leader from Grace UMC in Greensboro, leader of “Agents of Grace” Marshall Johnson, sang six songs at worship. What was the fave? Maybe…”I’ll Be Still” by Jennette Ross and Travis Ross. Come join us in praising God [...] We have been learning about relational leadership styles from Steve Clabaugh, Senior Vice President in Sales Support for Allstate Benefits in Jacksonville Florida – who is also a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Former Coordinator of Public Ministry for Chuck Colson’s Prison Fellowship.
